For Professional Valuations, our valuation expert applies additional judgment and documents the analysis in accordance with IRS Revenue Ruling 59-60.
Real-time valuations are useful for case assessment, negotiations, and client conversations. For litigation, IRS filings, or other situations requiring formal documentation, we offer Professional Valuations ($2,500) prepared by our valuation expert in accordance with IRS Revenue Ruling 59-60 and industry-standard methodologies. These provide signed reports with supporting documentation.
Traditional business valuations take 6 to 14 weeks and cost $5,000 or more. Because Fair Market Value already has the client’s financial data standardized, our Professional Valuations can typically be completed in about a week at a fixed price of $2,500. The exact timeline depends on the complexity of the business and any additional information needed.
Fair Market Value connects directly to QuickBooks and Xero via secure API. You can also upload IRS tax returns (Form 1120, 1120-S, 1065, Schedule C) or PDF financial statements. Fair Market Value extracts the data automatically and standardizes it for analysis. For most matters, 2–3 years of financials is sufficient.
Fair Market Value is SOC 2 Type II certified and ISO 27001 compliant. All data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and in transit. Client data is logically separated and never shared across accounts. Financial data is not used to train any public AI model. You can review our full security documentation at our Trust Center.
